Arch Apparel Overview

Defining a generation of St. Louis style.

Founded in 2016, Arch Apparel grew from a simple idea into one of the most recognizable lifestyle brands in St. Louis. Built on a foundation of hometown pride, authenticity, and community, the company encouraged people to celebrate where they came from by creating thoughtfully designed apparel inspired by the city's neighborhoods, landmarks, sports culture, and creative spirit. What began as a local clothing brand evolved into a movement that helped redefine how St. Louis represented itself, expanding from pop-up events into brick-and-mortar retail while collaborating with local artists, athletes, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations.

More than selling apparel, Arch Apparel created a sense of belonging. Every collection, collaboration, and event reinforced the idea that pride in your hometown was something worth wearing. Through thoughtful design and a genuine commitment to the local community, the brand became woven into the cultural fabric of St. Louis, inspiring thousands of people to represent their city with confidence.

Although Arch Apparel is no longer in business, its influence on St. Louis remains. This collection preserves a small piece of that legacy while documenting my creative partnership with a brand that helped define an era of local lifestyle apparel.

My Journey

My relationship with Arch Apparel began long before I ever photographed the brand. I joined the company as a Sales Associate, giving me the opportunity to experience its culture from the inside while building relationships with the customers and community that made it so special.

As Arch Apparel prepared to open its first brick-and-mortar location in Brentwood, I helped bring the space to life by painting and sealing the interior from floor to ceiling, helping paint the building's exterior, unpacking inventory, merchandising products, building displays, and preparing the store for opening day. Those early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the work, passion, and people behind the brand long before I picked up a camera.

As the company continued to grow, so did my role. What began on the sales floor evolved into an opportunity to contribute creatively through lifestyle photography, campaign imagery, content creation, visual storytelling, and documenting the everyday culture of Arch Apparel from behind the scenes. Working on both the operational and creative sides of the company gave me a perspective few photographers have. I wasn't simply creating images for a client—I was documenting a brand I believed in from the inside, preserving the people, moments, and culture that shaped one of St. Louis' most recognizable lifestyle brands.
