The Beginning of Something Built to Last.
The Opening Days
The soft opening and grand opening marked the moment Pierce Creek’s vision became something the community could finally experience. What had begun with The MOObile serving food outside the building grew into a full restaurant, bakery, butcher shop, market, and gathering place shaped by years of farming, planning, and hard work.
These opening days carried a particular kind of energy: a team learning the rhythm of a new space, customers discovering it for the first time, friends and family filling the rooms, and Kent and Rachelle watching an idea become real around them. Every plate served, conversation shared, and table filled represented another step in transforming Pierce Creek from a plan into a neighborhood home.
My photography and footage document that transition through the preparation, people, food, atmosphere, and spontaneous moments surrounding both openings. Together, the work preserves the beginning of a place that quickly became known not only for the quality of its food, but for the generosity and warmth of the people behind it.
