The Cookbook

Made. by Lia: Everyday Craft Baking brought years of recipes, family traditions, bakery favorites, and hard-earned knowledge together in one place. Released on September 4, 2025, the cookbook extended Lia’s work beyond the bakery, giving people the opportunity to experience her approach to craft baking in their own homes and carry those recipes into future traditions of their own.

Over nearly two years, I helped shape the book’s visual story by creating every photograph featured throughout its pages. The work included finished recipe imagery, ingredient details, portraits, process photographs, and the quieter moments that revealed Lia’s personality, family, and philosophy as a baker. Each image was created not simply to show how the food looked, but to capture the warmth, craftsmanship, and sense of home at the center of Made. by Lia.

My involvement continued beyond the pages of the book through behind-the-scenes documentation, promotional photography and video, product imagery, marketing materials, and content surrounding its release. This collection preserves the collaboration, care, and enormous amount of work required to transform a lifetime of baking into a story people could hold in their hands.
